Most of us have never really listened to our own voice

voice acting workshop in delhi

We talk all day, yet hardly anyone sits down and works on how they sound.

Then you record a voiceover for a video, jump on a client call, or stand up to present in a meeting, and something feels slightly off.

The pace is rushed. The tone is flat. The words come out stiffer than you meant them to.

This workshop is built for that moment.

Over four days you'll work in a proper studio, speak into a professional microphone, hear yourself played back and get direct feedback from someone who does this for a living.

Nobody is expected to sound like a movie trailer.

The aim is a voice that is clear, expressive and yours.

Who this workshop is for?

A. You want to try Voice Acting as a side hustle

Businesses need voices for ads, online courses, audiobooks and videos, and you'd like a share of that work. We cover the six kinds of voice work clients hire for, how to plan a demo reel, where projects come from and what a home recording setup really needs. I'll also be straight with you about the rest. Paid work takes practice and patience, and no workshop can promise otherwise.

B. You make videos and want to sound better

If you run a YouTube channel, make reels or build online courses, your voice is half of the video. You'll practise opening with a hook, pacing a voiceover, cutting filler words and recording clean audio, so people stay until the end.

C. You want to communicate better at work

Meetings, presentations, client calls, introducing yourself to a room of strangers. They all rest on the same basics: breath, pace, pauses and structure. You'll practise them in small, low-pressure exercises until speaking up feels less like a performance and more like a conversation.

What you'll actually do

what is included in the training

Expect to be on your feet and talking for most of the day.

A typical session mixes short warm-ups, a game or two and a good stretch of time at the microphone.

  1. Warm up your breath and voice with a routine you can keep using long after the workshop
  2. Learn to express emotion and intent, not just read words aloud
  3. Record in six styles: e-learning, narration, advertising, event announcements, kids' stories and audio drama
  4. Take direction at the mic, the way you would with a real client
  5. Speak without a script, from short talks to a 30-second self-introduction
  6. Work on your own goal in a small group: a demo reel plan, a video hook or a presentation opening
  7. Learn where voice work comes from and how to pitch for it
  8. Understand microphones, software and how to build a simple home studio on a realistic budget

About your trainer, Himanshu

I've worked as a freelance voice artist for more than 12 years.

Along the way I've also spent time in digital marketing, eCommerce and SEO, so I've seen voice work from both the creative side and the business side.

I run the YouTube channel, which has 45,000+ subscribers, many of them students and freelancers.

I hold a BCA and a postgraduate qualification in Mass Communication.

I designed this workshop to be practical and a bit playful, because people learn faster when they aren't afraid of getting it wrong.

Bhumika

"Honestly, before joining, I had no idea how much goes into voice acting apart from having a good voice. The training helped me understand expressions, voice modulation, and how to make a script sound natural. I started taking small voice-over projects after practising, and now I get regular work for ads and explainer videos. Really glad I decided to give this a shot!"

Viraj

"I'd been interested in voice-over for a long time but never knew where to start. The best part of the training was getting practical feedback instead of just learning theory. I understood how to approach different scripts and avoid sounding like I'm simply reading words from a page. I've started auditioning and have landed a few paid projects. It's been a great starting point for me!"

Josmi

"I joined because I wanted to explore voice acting as a possible freelance career. The sessions helped me understand how different commercial and storytelling scripts need different approaches. I'm now practising regularly, auditioning for projects, and building my portfolio. What I liked most was getting honest feedback about what I needed to improve instead of just hearing that I was doing great."

Akanksha

"I always wanted to start making videos, but I was super conscious about my voice and the way I spoke. The classes helped me become more comfortable in front of the camera and improve my delivery. Now I create content for Instagram and YouTube without overthinking every single sentence. I still have a lot to learn, but the difference is honestly huge!"

Prakhar

"I used to record the same reel 15 times because I never liked how I sounded 😂. After the training, I became much more aware of my expressions, pauses, and voice modulation. My videos feel more natural now, and I'm way more confident recording voiceovers for my content. It's a skill I genuinely use almost every week!"

Nayanpriya

"I joined mainly because I wanted to improve my speaking skills, not necessarily become a voice artist. The exercises were actually a lot of fun, and I started noticing changes in the way I communicate at work. I'm more confident during presentations, meetings, and even when talking to new people. Didn't expect voice acting training to help me this much in everyday life!"

FAQ

No. A clear, expressive voice comes from practice, not from a naturally deep or polished one. Beginners are welcome. Plenty of people are nervous about hearing themselves back, and that’s completely normal.

It will give you the skills, a demo reel plan and a clear idea of where to look. It can’t guarantee work or income. That depends on how much you practise and how consistently you reach out to clients.

Yes. A good part of the workshop is about pace, pauses, filler words, structure and speaking without a script. You’ll also plan and record the opening of a real presentation.

Most people are. We begin with games and small group exercises before anyone steps up to the microphone, and your recordings are never shared without your permission.

No. Studio equipment is provided. On Day 4 we talk about what to buy for home recording, and my advice is to start with what you already have.

The four days fall on two back-to-back weekends, 24 and 25 October and 31 October and 1 November, so most people can join without taking leave.

Contact me on whatsapp at 7827266199 to book your seat. Please Note that seats are limited to 10 per batch. and they fill out pretty quickly.
